Electric Film is a Romanian private company founded in 2002 in Bucharest, ROMANIA.
Our goal was to provide automations for the film industry, to increase productivity and creativity in this field.
We also provided consulting services for integration of new technologies in digital production and post-production for sound and video.

In 2003 we produced our first movie-crane arm of 2.5m built inventive from lightweight materials in a modular way, allowing for an easy handling and maximum mobility. Combining knowledge of electronic and mechanical skills we added to this crane a remote head for camera filming and some accessories. The ensemble has made many success film productions. At the request of many film operators we have designed and manufactured a second crane for shooting at heights of about 12 meters. This series of equipment was filled with other electro-mechanical devices for special underwater shooting, helicopter, and other.
In the same year we have completed the first hardware & software project,  based on C51 family of microcontrollers, which resulted in a remote-desktop audio mixer integrated with the audio editing software  Xtrack Suite from Digigram-France. As a system integrator of professional audio boards from  Digigram we have achieved a programme for broadcasting in automated radio stations.
 

With the decreased interest for the National Industry of Cinematography in the years which followed, our company has refocused the work to the production of software - primarily software for automation of measurement and control for industrial processes - developing in cooperation with our clients products which are compatible with the current requirements of industry.

digitAdd series is a rapidly changing project, gaining new features every day.
We keep up-to-date with state-of-the-art technologies and look for ways to integrate them into our current developed products. We are frequently reevaluating our procedures to look for better ways of doing things.
We use the experience of our team of engineers to design and install complex systems automation.

Currently we develop software applications in all environments in which we can bring our contribution to streamline business of our beneficiaries.
